Our goal is to use modern artificial intelligence tools to design antiviral compounds against FMD – a disease that threatens livestock worldwide and causes enormous economic losses each year.
We are seeking academic collaborators, grant partnerships, and laboratories for molecular validation. The project has the potential to develop into a commercially viable solution with strong impact on the veterinary and agricultural sector.
A highly contagious viral disease affecting cattle, pigs, and sheep. Outbreaks often lead to mass culling of animals, causing devastating losses for farmers and countries.
There is no antiviral drug yet. Vaccines exist but have limitations – including trade restrictions. In many cases, it's economically more viable for countries to cull animals than to vaccinate.
Think of it as a smart virtual scientist – AI analyzes data about the virus and suggests molecular structures that could block or neutralize it. We can simulate and test thousands of molecules quickly and cost-effectively.
Modern AI tools are ready. We have the data. The virus is re-emerging. Now is the time to act with a technological approach that wasn't possible a few years ago.
I'm the project initiator – connecting research, technology, and funding. My goal is to bring together the right experts and tools to make this project a reality.
